About Veterinary Care in Crawley
Crawley has 7 vet clinics, with an average Google rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 1,806 reviews, so overall quality looks reassuring for pet owners. A useful plus is that most clinics publish prices and 5 are open at weekends, making it easier to compare options before your pet needs care.
Our Score compares visible clinics in this country. The transparency part of the score is how many services the clinic has published, measured against the highest number published by a visible clinic in the same country. This town is in England.
Top 3 clinics (current town ranking table)
| Clinic | Our Score | Verified | Published prices |
|---|---|---|---|
| Portland Vets | 69/100 | — | 105 |

For most dog and cat owners, Crawley gives you a solid middle ground. There are enough vets in Crawley to compare style, convenience and price, without the choice becoming overwhelming, and the overall review picture is strong. It looks like a town where routine care should be straightforward to arrange, and the mix of clinics may also suit households with rabbits or other small exotics as well as cats and dogs.
On the trust side, none of the Crawley listings are verified yet, which just means their details have not been confirmed by a registered user. Price transparency is a real plus here, because most clinics publish prices, and the options shown lean average to above-average rather than bargain-led. Weekend access is better than in many towns, and a couple of clinics stay open past 7pm, but ask any practice you shortlist how they handle urgent cases, evenings and weekends.
If you are choosing between vets in Crawley, start with the basics that affect day-to-day use: how easy it is to get an appointment, whether weekend times fit your schedule, and how clear the pricing is for common items such as consultations, vaccinations and neutering. Then ring your two or three favourites and ask about continuity, who you would see for repeat visits, and what happens if your pet becomes unwell outside normal hours. A short phone call will tell you a lot about how approachable the team feels.
With this many reviews in town, tiny rating gaps matter less than practical fit. A clinic that is easy to reach from home or work, open when you can attend, and clear about fees will usually be the better long-term choice than chasing the highest headline score. For most owners in Crawley, the best next step is to register before you need urgent help, then keep the clinic's daytime and out-of-hours instructions somewhere easy to find.
